DTF TRANSFER APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

WHAT YOU NEED:


• Heat press
• DTF transfer
• Garment (cotton, polyester, or blend)
• Teflon sheet or parchment paper

???? Recommended Temperature by Fabric Type:
• Cotton and 50/50 blends: 300°F (150°C)
• Polyester or synthetic fabrics: 280°F–300°F (138°C–150°C)

  1. Pre-press garment
    280–300°F (138–150°C)
    5 seconds
  2. Main press
    280–300°F (138–150°C)
    10 seconds
  3. Peel film – Cold Peel
    Let it cool completely
  4. Final press
    280–300°F (138–150°C)
    5 seconds

???? ADDITIONAL TIPS:


• Pre-press the area where the design will be applied to remove moisture and wrinkles.
• Only peel the film once it’s completely cold (cold peel) to avoid lifting or shifting.
• For a smooth finish, cover the design with a Teflon or parchment sheet during the final press.
• If using a home iron, do not iron directly over the transfer.
